To generate personalized suggestions, we process:

All AI processing is securely done through Google Cloud Functions
and Gemini/Vertex AI. No data is used outside of improving your suggestions.
We use your information to:
• Create and manage accounts
• Verify email addresses
• Enable gatherings and participation
• Generate AI-powered recommendations
• Improve the app's performance and reliability
• Send important notifications
• Protect platform integrity
We do NOT sell or rent your data to third parties.
We store data securely using Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Google Cloud Functions. We use encryption, secure access controls, and strict Firebase Security Rules. Only verified users can access the app’s features.
We only share information in these situations:
• With Firebase, Google Cloud, and other service providers that power the app
• When legally required (court order, government request)
• With other gathering participants (only the data you choose to share)
We do NOT share data with advertisers.
You may:
• Access your personal data
• Update profile info
• Request account deletion
• Stop receiving notifications
• Withdraw from the app anytime by uninstalling
Jamaa is not intended for children under 13. If we discover that a child’s information was collected, we will delete it immediately.
The app interacts with external platforms (Firebase, Firestore, Cloud Functions, AI APIs). These services have their own privacy policies and terms, which you accept by using Jamaa.
